A happy day...

Your eyes do not deceive you, that is a Venn Diagram comparing and contrasting blueberries and raspberries!
Chuckle with me... Yes... I did find a delightful way to work food into my lesson plans... yet again.
My students squealed in delight. My smile never left my face. It's been a long time since I stopped to notice the bitty seeds in blueberries or shared in the joy of five year olds discovering the "fur" on raspberries.
Today I even deliberately squished a raspberry in my hands to discover whether a blueberry or a raspberry made more of a mess.
(Read our chart to discover the answer.)

Healthy eating

Cutting...
gluing...
laughing...
"Ms. Susan healthy food helps you grow!"
"That's silly! Shoes aren't food!"
"Candy is yummy but not good for you."
The aforementioned phrases?
All things I heard today
as my dear students discussed
their "Healthy Eating" worksheet.
sigh...
My Kindergarten students are sincerely delightful.
