Sharing special places...

With our children safely tucked in at our homes in the care of competent caretakers, my "sis" and I started out on an adventure. Though it is very nearly December, the weather has been holding and I decided to take Betty to some of my favorite, non kid friendly places. Many weekends Betty and I take our families and head out hiking. Each time, we go someplace that we know the kids will enjoy. There are many places that are dear to my heart that are simply not a possibility because they would be "too long" or honestly just not safe for unpredictable special needs kiddos.
