With pizza and cake,
children playing games in the field
and smiles all around,
today was a very lovely day.
Celebrating my eldest kiddo's graduation from eight grade
was a wonderful reason to bring both families together.
Talking, laughing and helping the children all enjoy themselves,
everyone made it a point to make sure all the kids had fun.
New family dynamics
can make things tense...
But not today.
Today was a blessing for everyone.
Especially the beautiful reason for the gathering.
I pray tonight
that you are fortunate to spend time with your dear ones.

be blessed with lovely peaceful times.
(...and maybe some pizza and chocolate cake as well!)
