Moving on...

Today my daughters visited with their dad.
They had a wonderful time.
Children need their parents.
Parents need their children.
Though my ex and I are no longer married,
we are still parents to three children.
As adults we are learning how to work together,
for the good of our kids.
I would be lying if I said that the process has been easy,
for either of us.
I would be fibbing
if I said we're done learning how to work together.
But,
we are making progress.
As our lives are taking us in different directions.
Our adventures,
no longer shared with each other.
It is a time to make peace.
Wish each other well
and care for the reasons that our marriage can never be a regret.
Three children who we both love.
